how ramble came to be
During college move-in day for one of our kids, we went for our final "Target run". Our soon-to-be college freshman said she wanted a couple games for her dorm room. Standing there in the game aisle, we stared at all the games, some were household names in homes across the world.
In that moment I felt this strong sense that one was missing. Two days later, the game came to me and I began the process of prototyping the game with a rough-cut print.
We then played it over and over with friends and family, testing small changes, evaluating the deck size, the graphics, the rules, and so forth.
Each time we played and honed the game, the results at the end of playing were the same:
It’s fun! We like it!
